Summary of Summer 2024 MADE Student Projects
Every semester, in our course on Methods of Advanced Data Engineering (MADE), students work with Python and Jayvee, our domain-specific language to model data pipelines as part of the JValue project.
During the semester, they also complete a data science project of their choice using open data. Below, please find links to the projects we found particularly interesting.
- How Does Climate Change (Temperature, Humidity, and Wind Speed) Affect Bike Rentals?
- Analysis and Visualization of Agricultural Data based on the Impact of Climate Change through ETL Process.
- Renewable Energy, Emissions, and Economic Growth: A Comparative Study of Germany, Sweden, and Bulgaria (2000-2021)
- Evolving Weather Trends in Germany: Insights from Historical Data
- Unveiling the Climate Crisis: A Data Science Investigation of Climate Related Issues (CO2 Emissions and Climate-related Disasters)
- The Impacts of Extreme Weather Events on the Socioeconomics – A Case Study in Southeast Asian region
- Analysis of CO2 Emissions and the Impact of Rainfall in Konstanz City
